@TheSuperhoden well, most of western civilization has a Roman fetish so you kind of are. You guys really like glorifying assholes that murdered, raped, enslaved, looted and stolen ideas from your actual ancestors. Especially when during colonization times you were doing the same:D

@TheSuperhoden yeah, sure, generalise it. Except Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth didn't just abolish slavery, it also wasn't colonial power in the first place. Or do you mean brits and their spawn like you, who were almost a thousand years behind on abolishment part?:D

All the usual fanboys of those, who love to feel "strong and firm arm of the government guiding them"... while simultaneously giving them rough colonoscopy. And just as romans, they've risen on myth about their achievements. Stalin on imperial plans of electrification, Hitler on weimar autobahns and so on. Don't praise those greecaboo cosplayers who couldn't even emulate Greece properly:D I especially love how the more Rome is degrading the more people tend to praise it. Empire, who've lost most of achievement of Republic is praised as if it was an epitomy of human civilisation... while it was a poor neighbourhood compared to India, China, Korea and many others.

@steveaguilar7510 Well, at least you somewhat guessed the part of the world. Belarus. Russia is our neighbour. Why would they even know anything about history of Commonwealth? There was already one other guy in the comments, who was "judging by linguistic imprints", but completly oblivious to casual mention of PLC:D Our other neighbours also include Ukraine, Poland, Lithuaniua, Latvia and mole people if they would have existed:\

@slugman7070 I'm not seing it praised and used to justify modern conquest on every corner though. It's dead and buried... or was before someone hadn't decided to stir trouble in Middle East. Now it's name is getting to be mentioned sometimes too;)
