@thebestdylanburke5088 Shush Dave, what you know you could write on the back of a stamp. 🤡
🇬🇧🤝🏻🇷🇺
Ukraine-NATO assault group along with vehicles that infiltrated Russian border in Kursk region, had no way back to Ukraine due to the encirclement. The Russian Armed Forces split, cut off the supply routes from Ukraine, completely isolated the assault group with missile fire, aviation and attack UAV. Out of about 1,000 people who crossed the border, 315 were killed or wounded, 54 armored vehicles were destroyed, including 7 tanks, and the operation to Kursk will be completed! 🤣

A piece of information just released about last night's attack on Feodosia confirmed earlier theory that the Ukrainians have been supplied with British war-stock Storm Shadow missiles, which are not compliant with the 300km restriction in the Missile Technology Control Regime.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported shooting down two of the AFU Su-24s involved in the attack near the village of Zhovten in Nikolaev, which is about 125km northeast of Nikolaev City, 100km from the nearest Russian positions on the left bank of the Dniper - and some 370km from Feodosia. In fact to range Feodosia with 290km-range MTCR-complaint export Storm Shadows, the Ukrainians would have to launch from practically overhead of their front-line positions in Kherson. Obviously a very dangerous proposition.
The obvious conclusion here is - as I surmised earlier - that the Ukrainians have been provided with 550-km range British weapons after the shorter-ranged export missiles ran out, which also neatly explains why they have been attacking targets in the south of Crimea recently when previously those were out of reach. This brings to mind another report I read today, which is that something like a quarter of Europe's total stock of air defense systems have been given to Ukraine - and presumably far more than a quarter of their total supply of ammunition. The Russian talking point that NATO is "fighting them with Ukrainian hands" thus would seem to me to be really quite true - with the necessary corollary that Ukrainian losses do in fact impinge on the military potential of NATO. The "Ukrainian" cruise missile campaign is thus not really Ukrainian, it's British and should be thought of as such.
As for the attack itself, the Russian MoD also stated that the LST Novocherkassk was damaged in the attack, which is rather odd given the ship photographed by observers (of which there is a fairly good view available) resembles an oil tanker and the explosion and subsequent fire looked far more like petroleum than ammunition. Perhaps it was loaded with oil for some reason and the fire and smoke completely obscured its large, prominent superstructure - or perhaps the MoD is playing games with us. We shall have to see if pictures of the aftermath leak out.

@rockfella1377
Has Russia's Black Sea Fleet Been Savaged by Ukraine?
I stumbled upon the chart below, apparently prepared by a former Belgian naval officer who keeps track of the Russian navy.
At first glance, one might consider it an awe-inspiring list. Only when you examine it in detail do you realize it is not an impressive war fleet — of which, as far as I can ascertain, only TWO warships were struck (and sunk) while at sea: the old cruiser Moskva and the old corvette Ivonovets. In fact, the Ivonovets was actually in Lake Donuzlav.
Every other ship was struck in port or in dry dock — stationary targets.
Now, there's nothing to be ashamed of by hitting a ship in port or dry dock. But none of these 11 ships, with the exception of the two warships sunk at sea, is meaningful in the context of the current war.
(I should note that @KaptainLoma lists 12 ships, one of which — the Novocherkassk landing ship — was first damaged in one port, then sunk while under repair in a different port.)
Of the other 9 listed, 3 were only damaged.
Of those destroyed in port, 3 were landing ships, 1 was a corvette, and 1 an old Kilo-class sub in dry dock.
1 tug boat is "presumed" to have been sunk.
It should also be noted that every single ship hit since June 2022 was struck by NATO-provided surface drones or cruise missiles — all of which were wholly dependent on NATO ISR platforms, and very likely operated by NATO personnel.
This is an important consideration to keep in mind.
It speaks to the level of desperation at which the US and its European vassals have arrived in relation to this lost-cause war. They have long-since resorted to strategically meaningless strikes for propaganda purposes, and not to meaningfully degrade Russian war-making capabilities.
Of course, I've argued for years that surface ships are highly susceptible to the asymmetric means now available to strike them.
Even so, Russian naval losses over the course of the war against NATO in Ukraine war are militarily negligible.

Because everyone is way pre-occupied with Russia loosing a single landing ship, let’s have a quick talk about some events happening in Ukraine that everyone is too distracted to talk about
First bit of news is that Maryinka has finally fallen. The writing was on the wall for some time now, so I suspect the Ukrainian MoD decided to get it out of the way and dusted, whilst the public looks away.
A lot was written about it already, so I’ll leave it at that.
Second is the new Mobilisation measures proposed. I believe people are aware that UA proposed mobilising further 500 000, of which half! will be used to maintain combat effectiveness over 2024. That basically amounts to 20 000 irreplaceable losses per month.
But gathering so many people in a short period of time in already mobilised country is not easy. So to compliment mobilisation, new rules were announced today changing definition of who is liable to serve.
I’ll give a hint:
So under new laws, invalids of 3rd group are eligible to serve. This includes those who are:
1) Missing/blind in one eye, or equivalent.
2) Severe heating impairment
3) Tracheotomy
4) Jaw defects
5) Dwarfism (>130cm for Males)
6) Missing/non functional upper limb or equivalent.
7) Missing fingers.
8) Missing both feet.
9) pacemaker fitted.
10) Only having 1 working kidney
11) Only having one lung.
12) Traumatic castration (for men)
…. and so much more. UA classification is attached.
All of those are no longer excuse not to serve in UA.
Needless to say, Ukrainians are not happy. Furthermore, Zaluzhniy, UAF chief of staff, Already commented on it, saying that he was not the one to determine the size of mobilisation or the requirements to serve and government is to bear full responsibility.
Well, whilst the west was a tad distracted the new mobilisation did cause some ukrainians to have second thoughts.

️🇷🇺🇺🇸 EU and Ukraine do not inform: The representatives of Russia and the USA will meet in Saudi Arabia next week and discuss the preparation of the Summit of Putin and Trump in late February, Bloomberg
In the words of one of the officials, most Europeans are still not informed about this. And although the arrival of officials from Ukraine is expected, they, it seems, also does not know all the preparations.
National Security Liberty Michael Waltz and Special Supervisor Steve Witkoff, as expected, will be headed by negotiations in Saudi Arabia, sources familiar with the situation told the agency.
Ukrainians and Europeans are in shock for several days, realizing that the process can follow Putin’s plan, and Kyiv and Brussels are just statists.
