  1. Well, as you say, the reason why wind use fell out of favor because combustion engines are cheaper. However, if nobody needs to tend to the sails, and fuel gets more expensive, plus less polluting, wind use may very well be coming back. Besides, the application is shown more as an added system to a normal engine, reducing the use of fuel. Soon boats will be drones.
