  4. What isn’t mentioned here is that the Dutch government has been mainly composed of pro farmers parties, burrowing their heads in the sand and declining reforms for decades. So that is why we have this crisis now. Saying the Dutch government ‘wants to get rid of farmers’ is nonsense.

  5. The BBB party has gotten a lot of votes, but apart from farmers, these are essentially the same voters that vote for every ‘protestparty’. Since 2000, this has included LPF, PVV, FvD and now BBB. So this is not a big movement, just the same protest voters (and conspiracy loonies) going with a new story, on top of farmers legitimate concerns. BBB gutted the FvD, as it will be gutted by the next protest party.
