@simonsmashup well, you should look at how things are immensely better than before, in terms of living conditions. In my lifetime, china alone has risen itself out of destitute poverty, let alone all other countries besides that have. The standards of living are almost incomparable. The decades between ww2 and now are the best humanity has ever had it. Before the fall of the wall, we lived with the idea that every moment the nuke could fall. There’s nothing that is ultimately bleak about the future.
