⁠⁠⁠ @CArchivist so, thats it? Because ‘transatlantic slave trade had a bigger impact on wealth on Britain’ you cannot mention that there were other slave trades going on as well? So transatlantic slave trade, as if it was done in vacuum, is the only one important enough to hear about? Talk about racism there.

@stephenlitten1789 alright, so because you feel yourself victim of racism, or objectively are, whichever way, you think it is best not to mention (let alone being in the curriculum) that slavery occurred in other places as well (And not only in the Ottoman empire or on the Barbary coast for that matter) and if a schoolchild asks questions on this very matter it should be reasons to send a schoolchild to the headmaster? What is the aim of this in your eyes, to encourage self thinking, means to establish truth in matters? Or to ‘train’ a populace to think a certain way, by solely focusing on transatlantic slave trade?
