@peekaboopeekaboo1165 is there really something as a ‘public’ reaction from the Chinese? All we hear are the state led media or officials. Same as in Russia or more obvious even North Korea, what can you reliably make up from them their reaction in regard to what the public thinks? I myself have a hard time positioning myself in the shoes of peoples that have been living in autocratic dystopia for a century (or more). I can perhaps read solzhenitsyn and go from there, but thats already 80 years old stuff.
