  2. Duty to retreat means instead of fighting a guy doing mean words with you, you walk away. You have to fight someone in certain places that are monitored like a boxing ring, or mma match. If you are attacked or someone tries to rob you means you can stand your ground. Duty to retreat has stand your ground built in. You have to state why you were in danger and couldn't just walk away from a confrontation.
