  1.  @elinor6525  false. if a fire extinguisher is used immediately its often just a few hundred dollars that is covered by insurance and the car will run for the next ten years without issue. its when you have to wait for the fire dept to arrive that the car is going to be a write off because it will take 30 minutes to several hours.

  5.  @gerbre1  not enough water or if the temperature rises to turn the water into hydrogen and oxygen than a fire isn't going to be put out, diesel fires even from tankers are often put out easier than an electric car fire.

  22.  @thorin1045  nuclear reactors require huge amounts of water along with uranium. this is why France often shuts down a third of nuclear plants in the summer when river water is low due to the massive power demand to cool down the people so thousands of them don't die. then there is the waste issue which also includes the nuclear plant especially the reactor cores when it is decommissioned.
