The rest were Egyptians and Syrians,, Afganisi. What were doing in Libya which is known for open air slave markets? carbon fiber is not used in deep sea submersibles that are human rated except as a one use. This is because unlike other well used materials such as aluminum, titanium, acrylic the number of times it can dive cannot be predicated before the carbon fiber basically unravels. carbon fiber deep sea probes or otherwise unmanned uses it can be useful since you can easily rip apart the vessel after the trip or use x-rays etc on the carbon fiber hull to see if there are problems starting to occur.
