  38. nope. not possible to rely on people putting up 50k property collateral when a 25k loan is taking out. nor can 80% revenue be sent back to customers when 50% of revenue at least is going to pay taxes/fees, paying utilities etc. in fact 80% of revenue would likely go to operating costs with majority of remaining 20% going to cover defaulted loans and expanding the amount of loans that would be done.

  49. yeah people somehow don't realize that banks not only have to cover their own expenses, but cover loans that defaulted as well as having money to loan. hence why a lot of the percentage of investment returns is taken by the bank and just a few percent given to the person with a deposit. Islamic banking doesn't charge interest instead they charge massive fees to cover expenses, loans that default and need money to make more loans.
