@4alue you answer your name and other id. you state you defended yourself, you state you want to cooperate but need your attorney. you can answer questions as to other armaments on you or state that you want to make the police feel safe so you are informing them of other things on you that may not have been used in the incident. example a pocket knife or backup gun

@4alue when I shot two muggers, I was never in handcuffs and knew what to say. one thing is the cops will ask the same question multiple since stupid people will not give the same answer. gunshots are very loud hence will knock out your hearing for a while and the whole exp is a disorienting one the first time due to that as well as adrenaline.

give you a clue these people do not buy guns legally. you can make a gun from a centerpunch or staple gun. you can buy a book off of amazon, go to a hardware store and in a week of idle time with hand tools found in most garages make your own submachine gun. these homemade machine guns are used in crimes all over the world. in a third world country it takes less time and effort to setup a workshop to make several thousand machine guns in a week then build a tractor. google improvised guns. kids in schools in various parts of the world have made functional guns out of rebar and rubberbands in canada bb guns are converted in less then five minutes into firearms by just swapping out one part.
