@jfangm SLAP was designed for it since it would take dozens to hundreds of them to have an effect on an armored vehicle where regular .50 bmg would bounce off the armor or just scratch it hence a semi auto sniper rifle wouldn't make any sense to use the rounds since the rate of fire would have no effect on the armor being hit with the slap rounds

@jfangm yes it is relevant because a single slap round will not go through armor to the inside of the vehicle being fired upon, You have fire dozens at the same area for it to penetrate and go into the vehicle being fired upon Barrett says the rounds do not damage the rifle and work just fine in them. You are spreading FUDD lore. You obviously don't know there was a shoulder fired Barrett meant for allowing snipers to hit helicopter cockpits with the slap rounds allowing the single round to go through the armored glass and kill the pilot thereby causing the helicopter to crash
