FYI most countries the police are part of the military including most European countries France the majority of the police that patrol the country doing law enforcement functions are military not civilian. Funny how the supposed poorly trained are employed by other countries to train their police. in the there is the Posse Commite Tatus Act which prevents the use of military units for law enforcement unless authorized by a state gov or the President the majority of those murdered are blacks with criminal records and are active members of gangs. Their murderers are also known criminals belonging to gangs. the number of firearms used in self defense incidents each year in the US is estimated to be several hundred thousand to several million by the cdc. The number of justifiable homicides by civs and law enforcement is roughly the same.
