  1. funny that if you read an old econ book it outright stated that for an exporter to continue doing business they would either lower the cost of their goods or direct compensate the importer often with the exporter gov't compensating the exporter with subsidizes or direct compensation. otherwise the importer goes to a non tariffed or lesser tariff country to do business making the exporting country lose wealth. funny how this basic fact escaped you
