This species is native to the US and Canada but nowadays is also grown in Chile. US, Canada and Chile make up 98% of the farmed cranberry production. the different cranberry species have different leaves, stalks and slightly different tastes. three species of cranberry grow in North America. two of these species are also in Northern Europe.

  6. each farm has different equipment. there is no standard equipment made for cranberry farming. its often custom built and lasts for decades. if it works why break it trying to fix it. some farms the berry agitator tractor also harvests them and puts the berries into boats that are being dragged by the agitation tractor. when the farmers get into a pattern that works they keep doing it for decades.
