Chris Van Hollen, I commend you for your bravery for exposing Netanyahu. I just pray they don't start accusing you of Antisemitism to censor you.

If Turkey is a takeover with no Turkish troops in syria, what does he call what Israel did when they captured Syrian land?

Reporter: "Why is Israel blocking Aid?" US: "Israel has a right to defend itself. Also Oct 7th." Reporter: "How is Israel blocking international food and medicine aid defending itself?" US: "Blocking aid is not good and they should allow more aid to flow." ???
151
0:38 Holy Mother of deflection. Are they just memorizing Israeli talking points? The question was about stopping the blocking of aid, not ceasefire. Good job on the reporter for pressing on!
98
Netanyahu was for the iraq war and was among the people who were urging the US to invade. He promised it would create a domino effect that would bring "peace to the region."
59
2:32 wars are fought between two countries. This war is fought against civilians. They don't have any means of defending themselves.
31
I still can't believe Netanyahu blamed qatar for funding Hamas when HE AND ISRAELI SECURITY ALWAYS APPROVED IT.
23
Netanyahu is master manipulator. The polls he's quoting are asking different questions from the points Schumer was making. Schumer was talking about the long-term solutions to the conflict to avoid turning Israel into a Pariah. Netanyahu is only focused on the short term. He has a massive conflict of interest to keep the war going to secure his political future regardless of the impact to Israel's future.
19
1:57 Germany was the invading occupier. Imperial Japan was the invading occupier. They invaded and committed atrocities until they lost. The Palestinians were INVADED and lost in their desire for justice and are now treated as aggressors by their colonial INVADERS.
19
0:03 Call for an election then if he's so confident? See how many vote to keep Netanyahu in office. The polls on Israeli newspapers indicate others in terms of trust in Netanyahu and his coalition.
15
2:47 if you're gladly sending 2000lb indiscriminate bombs that are targeting civilians then you definitely have some responsibility.
12
Why is this press secretary always looking like he's on the verge of laughing when he's discussing people in a warzone?
8
"We're so sorry. They told us who they were and where they were going, and we gave them permission, but then we forgot and thought they were unarmed Palestinian babies despite the clearly labeled WCK logos. "
7
@julimaynes2193 In every conflict, the number of civilian deaths given by the Gaza health ministry ALWAYS closely matched the death count admitted by Israel. IDF themselves recently admitted the number was accurate and they're using it in their own intelligence assessments. Israel is deliberately trying to deflect on this issue by saying "Hmas run ministry."
6
They've been like this for decades. We just have more cameras now.
6
Doesn't the 30-day notice start from the day they're fired?
6
@lornaholland8613 Jesus is a very holy figure to Muslims and Christians, but I'm not sure about Judaism. So yes, I agree, but I really don't see what this has to do with anything.
5
@pindapoy1596 That excuse could have worked on October 8th. The WCK convoy incident showed that a lot was definitely on purpose.
5
@noobsaibot5285 This is from Israeli newspapers, Israeli politicians, and the video you just saw above. Netanyahu approved funding to Hamas because he saw them as an asset to prevent the creation of a Palestinian state.
5
Translation of that phrase: "We want them to forget that we stole and conquered their land, slaughtered their people, committed countless atrocities against them, and rewrote history to make us look like innocent victims and them as barbarians." A better way to look at it: "If the Europeans Jews lived as immigrants in the region, there would be no conflict today. Instead, they colonized the land and caused countless problems." Kinda of a good argument against illegal immigration now that I think about it.
4
@pindapoy1596 Hamas was created in response to decades of atrocities by Israel. They are still indigenous to the land despite their radical methods. Most of Israel came from Europe. Your prime minister is from Poland. Your side is clearly colonial, mate.
4
This is not by accident. This is deliberate and acted. They're trying to win over the disgruntled voters. There's no daylight between G.Joe and Netanyahu on the war. After he "accidentally" spoke on Netanyahu, they "realized" the mic was on. It's a very old tactic.
4
@honeyho9890 I don't think so. I'm not a hasbara Zionist.
3
@honeyho9890 You are missing the point I made.
3
@DoSe420 I was challenging Netanyahu's claim, which seems in direct contradiction to the Israeli people desires as back up by multiple Israeli newspapers and polls. Confidence in Netanyahu and his coalition is low. He has a massive conflict of interest to keep the war going. Many, if not all, Israelis hold him responsible for October 7. He deliberately kept hamas in power all these years to serve his political interests and prevent the creation of a Palestine state. Reading comprehension does wonders for some people. You should consider it.
3
Isn't attacking an embassy also considered unprecedented?
3
Either you support the ICC, or you don't. If law doesn't apply to Israel, why do we lecture others on following it?
3
US credibility and reputation are taking a massive hit in the global community because of their blind support for Israel. Israel will absorb every benefit it can from a sitting administration and then throw them under the bus for the sake of the next incoming administration.
3
@Tourtiere34 Ottomans are not Arabs. They tend to be both Muslim and share a lot of cultural identities, but they are different ethnicity.
3
The only claim Israel had to the land was having a better army against their poor undeveloped neighbors. They took the land because they could and made up crazy excuses later.
3
1:39 If anyone else provides these types of aid, Israel will hold them responsible for any security breaches or smuggling operations. Instead, the other countries provide funding or support, so Israel checks and delivers the aid itself. This way, Israel can't blame anyone else for any security issues. It's not that complicated, but then again, this is the same senator that thinks Singapore and China are the same country.
3
He did? I listened to his speech. He just laid out his opinion on how to bring permanent peace after the war was over. He said BiBi had to go to prevent Israel becoming a pariah like North Korea (granted no one hates North Korea as much as they hate Israel at the moment). I think Schumer had a point. Netanyahu deliberately kept Hamas in power for his politicial purposes so he has significant blame for Oct 7.
3
@pindapoy1596 There was a report that Israel allowed 20 civilians per low ranking Hamas and 100 civilians per senior Hamas. The problem is that they did not target them in the field. They waited for them to return to their homes before attacking them. The program was called "lavender" and "Where's Daddy?" No one is claiming everything was intentional. But a damn large amount of it sure is. The ICJ ruling made that pretty clear. The WCK tragedy was further validation of the opinion of the ICJ.
3
@noobsaibot5285 0:57 He literally admitted it multiple times. There are multiple sources confirming this. Qatar would never provide funding unless Israel/Netanyahu approved it. Else, they'd face US sanctions.
3
4:14 "unless if it's directed towards Israel"
3
Probably a "don't get caught next time"? /sarcasm
3
@meatrealwishes Good point. Hindsight is 20/20. I guess. But I don't agree on the "us faced no resistance." Bush said you're either with us or against us. Anyone who disagreed risked facing either sanctions or the might of the US army.
2
Isn't it the Ukraine and Israel 1st bill? Name one country that places other citizens' well-being over its own? Only the US does this. What is this insanity? Israel has free healthcare, housing, and education while the us citizen has none of that. Ukraine has all of Europe supporting it. If the US falls into crises, will Ukraine and Israel come to the rescue? No, they'll just go look for another sugar daddy. US should take care of its people first. Why is this so controversial?
2
About time the world realized that Netanyahu is the problem. For too long his silver tongue and well spoken English have hypnotized the people of the West. So much so they ignore everything he says and does in Hebrew to his local audience. Unless Israel and Palestinians are constantly at war, he has no chance of gaining political power. He will betray and backstab anyone to remain in power. He did it to Obama, he did it to Trump and he'll do it to Biden the first chance he gets. Qatar always provided funding with the approval of Netanyahu and Israeli security. After Oct 7 Netanyahu immediately blamed Qatar for providing those funds he approved. For decades he always said the Palestinians never wanted peace hence the reason they never got a state. After Oct 7 he bragged to a reporter that he deliberately prevented the creation of a State for Palestinians. Every world leader who works with him calls him a liar.
2
@arktos298 He literally quoted Netanyahu's own official words to a US senator. It is official US documentation in Congress.
2
@pindapoy1596 I don't think we can debate this better than the ICJ and the international experts. I say we drop this and move on if that's okay with you.
2
@jantergibbins85 And i wouldn't call it madness. Trump himself doesn't think so and he knows more than you.
2
@williamseger2965 Normally, it's "You're fired. Pack up your stuff and provide a smooth transfer to your successor within 30 days. By day 30 maximum you should no longer be involved with us." I was asking if it was the same for these federal appointments.
2
What is wrong with this reporter? An investigation will determine if this was an isolated case or systematic abuse of UNRWA. The consequences will be harsher the more systematic the case that turned out to be. 12 low-level employees out of 13,000 employees is already small. And why did Israel wait until now to share this information? Nearly 9/10 things they claim turned out to be a lie, so we have to be careful. It is better to wait for a US investigation to confirm the details.
1
Nancy Pelosi once said if the US was destroyed, the one guarantee would be US support for Israel. Mind you, not the well-being or the future of the US and its citizens, but a foreign country. I wish I was joking.
1
If he says the truth he'll get fired by AIPAC
1
A Muslim was the first to say, "God saved Trump's life twice for a reason." Since Trump won, I guess they were right?
1
@Missplants-pomnifan spot on.
1
Once the US elects someone not hostage to AIPAC
1
Israel bought the US politicians so of course he'd defend his owners. The greatest nation in the history of humanity only doing and saying whatever Israel gives them permission to do. What a humiliating disgrace.
