  1. Studying Japanese, in particular Kanji characters, seems like a never ending story to me, whilst speaking is kind of manageable. Tried picking up Cantonese but the 4 tones make it impossible to learn it. Try the world guai (white, sweet, furniture and more). They all sound the same to me! Any tips on distinguishing the tones?
