However, your statement is considering outer foreigners with earthling's culture (fearful & belligerent), which is totally erroneous (anthropomorphism), a common mistake. Any civilization that has the technology for traveling in the cosmos also has the attributes endorsing it (humanism). Otherwise, you're right, earthlings would have been eradicated long ago.
