(Modern Vs Bygone) - The problem with that outdated fundamentalist-totalitarian-theocracy is those fundamentalist principles intrinsically involve the elimination of all opponents (the infidels). That intimate conviction shared by its devouts is even a duty (jihad). Its related terrorism (daesh) precisely expresses these ideas in much concrete events. Clearly, there is no way of coexisting, and the modern world (human rights & the rule of law) will not regress.
