This is what catapulted Jordan to instant fame. It is an opinion (supported by many people in religion) of the content with which I absolutely do not agree, and that is Jordan's opinion that the Canadian government is "forcing" him to use words that he refuses to use, when in truth, he simply doesn't have to address the subject at all. I'm a heterosexual, and I certainly don't feel "forced" to use new terminology that shows respect for a group that have in the past been so terribly persecuted. It would be my honor, to in turn honor them. I suggest that Jordan's problem to address those who are other than male or female, stems from his bible "usage," that a god is offended. I was indoctrinated in a Christian culture and know full well that devotees of Christianity (especially in the good old days) believed that "God spoke through words in the bible, that said that 'HE" created male and female ... period ... end of subject." From my perspective, in this era we should know better ... and go beyond religious archaic hyperbole ... to be respectful of each other's gender differences.

Jordan sometimes weeps when he speaks the word "Jesus." From the book “God’s Bullies,” by Perry Deanne Young. That the religious were so concerned about other people’s drinking habits and sex lives said much more about them and their own minds than it did about those they regarded as sinners. In the name of Jesus and God, they had perpetrated all kinds of little cruelties on others and had meanwhile fooled themselves into thinking they could do no wrong because they were always carrying out God’s will.

@Dubbadizzo86 Following are Jordan’s nefarious words (verbatim) “Gender identity and gender expression are not valid ideas. They are not true. There is no evidence for it. I don’t know what the options are, if you don’t identify as a man or a woman. There is an idea that there’s a gender section. I think that is an ill-informed opinion. Gender identity and sexual orientation are the same thing. I don’t believe these people, these terms, stand for good things. I think these people use these terms as a pretense that they stand for good things; as a pretense for them to carry on their nefarious activities.” Shame on Jordan.

@Dubbadizzo86 I suggest that Jordan became famous on YouTube podcasts, because to followers such as evangelicals, who believed as he believed, that the bible clearly states that a god created male and female ... which of course doesn't leave room for those who don't fit that "design." However, had he been a Muslim promoting that idea, I suggest that he would still be back teaching his nonsense at the university in Toronto.

@Dubbadizzo86 No Atheist would find practical anything out of Jordan's biblical talk. I suggest that you are fibbing about being an Atheist. “I act as if God exists, and I’m terrified he might.” ~ Jordan Peterson

@Dubbadizzo86 I don't believe you, or Jordan, so you might as well go post to somebody else because I am going to ignore you.

@Dubbadizzo86 Okay ... I'm wide awake now, so I will carry on for awhile with your Jordan Peterson-"like" ramblings. Do you believe that Jordan is an Atheist? Please make your response "short" and to the point. "Yes," or "no?"

@Dubbadizzo86 If Jordan is not honest about his religious "intentions" ... why would anyone trust him to be honest about any other subject? I suggest he craves to have a following ... period. You and I both know, that if Jordan said he was an Atheist, he would lose not only his Christian followers ... but his followers that are in all other religions. People in religion, do not trust Atheists to know truth of any sort ... period. Apparently, not everyone is convinced that Peterson is a thinker of substance. Last November, fellow University of Toronto professor Ira Wells called him “the professor of piffle”—a YouTube star rather than a credible intellectual. Tabatha Southey, a columnist for the Canadian magazine Macleans, designated him “the stupid man’s smart person”.

@Dubbadizzo86 If the bible is full of wisdom, why did Catholics and Protestants kill each other in the name of Jesus? Does that mean that they couldn't find wisdom in the bible ... or that there never was any wisdom to be found in the bible?

@Dubbadizzo86 I didn't see any questions in your post, but rather just statements.

@Dubbadizzo86 The actual quotes are as I quoted ... and if you don't believe me, go to YouTube podcast ... University of Toronto Academic Forum on Bill C-16, and here the women quote him verbatim, after which he did not correct her in any way whatsoever. So I suggest that you stop lying. Following are Jordan’s nefarious words (verbatim) “Gender identity and gender expression are not valid ideas. They are not true. There is no evidence for it. I don’t know what the options are, if you don’t identify as a man or a woman. There is an idea that there’s a gender section. I think that is an ill-informed opinion. I think these people use these terms as a pretense that they stand for good things; as a pretense for them to carry on their nefarious activities.”

And it is obvious that you agree with Jordan that there isn't any identity, except male and female, which is also an absolute lie. From the book … The Seven Mysteries of Life. Guy Murchie The most striking example of a well-adjusted human hermaphrodite I’ve heard of is the individual reported in Lisbon in 1807 as having normal sperm-producing testicles and “some beard on the chin” but otherwise the appearance of a slim-hipped, attractive girl with graceful figure, adequate bosom and charmingly feminine voice, not to overlook the usual female organs which functioned well enough that she-he had already been pregnant twice between presumed affairs in which he-she may in turn have impregnated others.

@Dubbadizzo86 I don't know about you, but I relate to the old saying ... "If you aren't true to one or two, you won't be true to me." Author unknown. A spoof on agnosticism Two agnostics sat on a fence Pondering on how humans are dense Wondering which way the wind would blow Losing their balance to fall below "If we fall on the side where religion is real" One said to the other "I will appeal To God's holy grace for having doubt Of his existence and his mighty clout." The other agnostic soon agreed That falling for God and his holy creed Would save them from a writhing hell Where forever they just might dwell. Soon they climbed down off the fence Convincing each other religion made sense Why would they want to upset God Who has all the power with but a nod So the two agnostics became believers No more would they choose to be deceivers Doubting Thomases they would not be Safe in God's arms for eternity. @Dubbadizzo86 I wrote the following June 10, 2017 An animal am I An animal am I ... grounded from the sky No gods to love or hate me ... no angels flying by My earthly journey is but short ... as nature has designed I pride myself for leaving ... all religion far behind Most of my life was squandered ... by confusion of the quest To know if a god existed ... or if it was a human test They taught us that religion ... demanded our respect But only if it was our own ... all others to reject They trampled each other to their graves ... as religious wars they fought Meanwhile they taught that God is love ... and knows our every thought If a god just happens to exist ... it ought to be ashamed The suffering of all forms of life ... should not have brought it fame As death draws near ... I understand that I will soon depart And so I give these words to you ... from the bottom of my heart Please teach your children to not trust ... that you have the answers When all you have are opinions ... and are naught but flighty dancers

@Dubbadizzo86 Theology will be a bore Come good Christians … own a Jew We will play that game with you We’ll tell you what you long to hear That a god will hold you dear Bring your money and your brain That we will train for our domain We will teach you how to fight To defend with all your might As theologians we are proud That you follow us and preach so LOUD There’ll come a day when you will see We lied to you … you will agree You’ll see that Jesus was a myth As were all saviors meant to lift To dominate emotions high And take them soaring to the sky When that day comes and come it will You’ll free your selves from our swill You will choose to fight no more Theology will be a bore June VanDerMark July 25, 2013
