I believe that the Jews, by creating the one-god dogma of monotheism, did cause antisemitism. In ancient times, when Jews and devotees of other religions believed in many gods, there wasn't any reason to fight over the subject of salvation, because they were all united in the idea that they all had gods that they believed would reward them with eternal bliss. When the monotheistic Jews created the story that they were the one god's chosen few ... the wars over religion were ON. Every divisive religious group if devotees, lusted to be favorites of that one supposed god. It was greed over that word "salvation," that caused antisemitism.
