Thanks for honoring my freedom of speech. I'm a Canadian Atheist ... and very thankful to live in Canada ... no matter which party is in office. Jordan implies that he is a Christian ... yet he doesn't seem to have any TRUST at all in "GOD'S intentions. “I act as if God exists, and I’m terrified he might.” ~ Jordan Peterson

@lysanderofsparta3708 If Jordan really believes that a god is taking care of his every need ... shouldn't Jordan be thankful TO the god? If a god exists, he might just take away all Jordan's comforts, to teach him a lesson in "thankfulness." Maybe Jordan should say "Thank you God for my millions of dollars, so that I don't have to suffer from lack of comforts." Don't you agree?

This is just not so. The etymology of a word simply reveals its origins, not its "true" meaning. Words simply do not have secret inner meanings. Meanings are fluid and context-dependent; they are not contained in words but in the minds of those who speak the words.”

@lysanderofsparta3708 I was raised in a Christian culture, but I could never buy the story that Jesus would have preached either Catholic or Protestant doctrine .... when he was raised by religious Jews to preach Judaism.
