  2. A woman who was a prostitute was once asked by a devout believer with a self-righteous attitude if the prostitute had ever read the bible. She replied that she had tried it once, and she never read it again. Her explanation for not wanting to read it again was that she found such filthy stories in the book. For a change, instead of someone being put down by the bible, she had the self-worth to put herself up, and the bible down, where (in my opinion) it belongs. I believe that words in any book of religion should never be perceived as having more value than a human. Prostitutes sell sex in exchange for money, and they “deliver” the sex. Theologians sell myths for money, and all they ever deliver are words.
