Will we ever learn? Even non-human animals were labeled as being "evil." Throughout history house cats have been revered as holy by those in religion and at other times were vilified as being evil by others in religion. Now, for the most part, there are people who simply don't like cats, or people who are very fond of cats. People of today took the religion out of the cat. The cat never was holy, or evil. The cat was just a creature of nature, and from my perspective ... humans are also just creatures of nature.

It's people suffering from religious delusions that are certain they see "evil" others, that they are certain stems from the influence of an evil devil. I believe as did Stephen Hawking, before he died, that the universe in one form or another always existed; no creator involved, and that suffering of all creatures is natural. Only those in religion teach that "survival of the fittest" mentality extends to the afterlife, in the haughty attitude, "By the will of the most Holy God, my soul will be saved and rewarded with eternal bliss, and God will see to it that your soul will be doomed to suffer for eternity." Silly humans.
