While the viewers keep expressing that they hate the hate that is spewed on The View ... they keep tuning in to The View. If the show was based on kindness ... because of utter boredom ... it would lose all its viewers in the first week. People LOVE fights ... and that is why The Jerry Springer show lasted for 27 seasons ... with people throwing chairs and pounding each other's bodies on and off stage. The only other comforts the cheering members of the audiences were missing at the Jerry Springer shows ... was the popcorn ... and drinks.
