What I don't understand about people in religion, is that rather than being thankful to your supposed god for the comforts that you do have, you are always complaining about what you perceive are discomforts. Surely if a god is watching your performances, it must be very disappointed that you don't give thanks every day that you are lucky enough to live in the United States of America. It might be a subject on which you should ponder.

@avalerie4467 If you believe that a higher power is seeing to it that you have what you need for what you are expected to learn on planet earth ... then, it seems to me that you should never complain about the earthly government? Surely the earthly government would be irrelevant to those who believe that an all-powerful God's Government is the only REAL Government in charge.
