Comments by "June VanDerMark" (@junevandermark952) on "Brian Greene Shares His Surprising Take on Religion and Science" video.
"In 1985, I attended a conference on cosmology at the Vatican in Rome. The gathering of scientists had an audience with Pope John Paul II. He told us that it was okay to study the workings of the universe, but we should not ask questions about its origin, for that was the work of God." Stephen Hawking. I suggest that only Stephen Hawking's theory, that the universe in one form or another always existed, could result in creationists concluding that their own systems of belief just might be wrong. If Stephen was correct, then the universe never was created, and that would mean that the suffering of all forms of life is natural, as in "survival of the fittest."
