  5.  @courtney5796  How do you confiscate 100+ million suddenly-illegal 'assault' rifles from citizens' hands...? Are YOU going to do it? Are you going to violate the constitution and use the military on domestic soil? How are you going to afford the 100 billion dollars + in new taxes to hire enough ATF Agents to go around the country and do it? Pick your battles -- better to make penalties stiffer (and stick, i.e. never plea-bargained away) for using a gun in an actual CRIME, penalties so severe that thugs go back to 9mm pistols and .38 revolvers for their drug deals.

I hope you & others are ALSO going to follow any lawsuits or other real, official actions against this unconstitutional Governor: impeachment filings in NM legislature, citizen efforts to remove her from office, etc. Is the NM state GOP doing anything towards removing her? Are any state legislators in NM filing impeachment proceedings? We the people want to see REAL actions against these constitution-violators. You can't say the system is broken until you've actually TRIED the system...and all I've heard from the GOP in recent years is a lot of talk, not action.
