@Alckee It's a moot point when America has the worst crime of virtually every kind in the developed world. Guns haven't, and will not make you safer. I didn't say a fucking thing about "what if...." I stated that you allow people to own guns without a sufficient test to prove they are fit and proper. You'd rather put your convenience above gun crime rates and mass shootings. For the record American road safety is poor too, so why wouldn't you out systems in place to IMPROVE your rates without affecting decent people the right to own guns or to drive? If your aunty had balls she'd be your uncle. Your hypothetical nonsense means nothing.

Yeah, and you as a backward country do FUCK ALL to prevent that. That's your entire problem. Your gun laws are not fit for purpose. No one wants to take your guns away IF you can demonstrate you're responsible enough to own guns, but by and large US Gun laws are so lax and so ridiculous that you don't even have to do that.

@Alckee Other countries have high level of gun ownership but nowhere near your issues. Why aren't you in favour of a system where a person has to do a bit more to prove they're mature enough to have one? Wouldn't affect your ability to own a gun would it?

@Alckee Only a backwards country puts the rights of any old prick to own a gun ahead of the safety of its population. Have guns by all means, but your current vetting system is demonstrably not for for purpose.
