Because it's the most obvious cause for her disappearance. They aren't saying she definitely did, they have said it's the focus of their enquiries.

There isn't a god, certainly not one who answers prayers

@davidearl1973 They aren't protected from ridicule. You don't have a right not to be offended and religion and beliefs are not protected from satire, jokes or from criticism. I didn't say anything which prevented a person from holding their unjustifiable beliefs, I only said they weren't worth a cigarette end.

Sure the prayers will work, prayers always work don't they........................?

@solarisx444 Nonsense. There has NEVER been an instance where a prayer has been answered that is attributable to a god. Besides the repulsive bible claims that WHATEVER is prayed for in the name of Jesus will be answered. Demonstrable crap

@apollonia6656 You can't prove that it isn't a prayer answering ham sandwich and not a god can you? The point to believe something is when it is supported by evidence, to do so otherwise Imis called BEING GULLIBLE, and it also tells everyone that you don't care if your beliefs are true.

@apollonia6656 It isn't blasphemy to laugh at silly beliefs. You don't have a right for your beliefs not to be ridiculed. Your religion and your beliefs do not deserve special treatment and having a go at your religion isn't blasphemy anyway.

@apollonia6656 It's not the content of your belief, it's believing things which are indistinguishable from fairy tales which amuses me. Why would you believe it?

Grow up. You're not Sherlock fucking Holmes.

@markheitz7963 I'm not the one claiming to have the skills of a forensic psychologist like you are. The police have clearly said they are not looking for any third party involvement. All the signs point to it being a tragic accident beside a tidal stretch of river.
1
@markheitz7963 I'll come back to laugh at your absurd conclusion when she's found drowned in the river.

@markheitz7963 From a man that uses "Ur" I'm hardly likely to lose this one.

You have a psychic feeling have you? Bullshit.

@LeeeRoyyyHD The simplest explanation is "usually" the one most likely to have happened. There is no evidence of an abduction, assault, kidnap, murder, suicide, planned disappearance, so the chances are most likely drowning is the most obvious explanation. I wasn't doubting your explanation, I was questioning the OP claim of something sinister.

What are you basing that on. It's Occam's razor.
