If adults want to live like that, fair enough. I don't think it's fair to force a child to grow up like that.

@westho7314 Baldness and grey hair are hereditary nothing to do with lifestyle.

There's some really weird people in America.

@GuitarBloodlines I didn't say to indoctrinate them with anything. Not teaching them religion, doesn't mean you teach them NOT to believe in a god. I'm saying don't indoctrinate them at a young age to believe in a god, don't mention god, or a lack of god, just leave it open. Just as we teach Greek myths etc, we don't have to teach them it isn't true. They're clearly just stories and religions are indistinguishable UNLESS adults insist on teaching children they are true. It seems that you are fine with enforcing children to live this life, believe in an absurdly stupid proposition which has no basis in facts and live under a coercive and authoritarian set of rules attached to that orthodox belief. That's pretty disgusting to me. Why would you force a child to live in such a way and believe such demonstrable crap as any religion? Why brainwash a malleable mind when if there was anything to suggest it was true would have nothing to fear from waiting until that child was old enough to make its own choices? Indoctrination of a young mind with such things is abuse. We are born with no beliefs in god's. Why force them?

It's not a good thing to believe those ridiculous myths.

@OKHFarms Prove to me there is a creator. Even if there was a god, and there is zero evidence there is, it wouldn't be the immoral god of the bible.

I'd have a lot more respect for Titus, if he didn't believe such obvious nonsense .

It's pathetic isn't it? Gangs are for 12 year old kids.

Do you realise that the word infamous isn't a favourable term?

@GuitarBloodlines I'm not forcing my views on their kids, I'm saying that the decision to be in that sort of weird set up shouldn't be forced on a kid. Bringing up a child in a religious system based on zero evidence is brainwashing. If you want to believe that demonstrable crap as an adult fine, don't indoctrinate children i to it.

@GuitarBloodlines I would show them how to behave in society, not under the doctrines of some weird separatist, outdated, religiously indoctrinated sect. Children do not deserve to be lied to and live their life in such a restricted way. I'm not forcing anyone to do anything, I'm simply saying IT IS MY OPINION that children should not be brainwashed into living a life based on a fairy tale. I don't think you should raise a child to believe ANY religious crap. If they want to when they're old to make up their own minds, fine, but they don't

@GuitarBloodlines What am I indoctrinating them with? If I don't teach them about the Loch Ness Monster, does it mean I'm teaching them not to believe in the Loch Ness Monster? I don't think you know the definition of atheism. If you want to teach children about religions, fine, why would you FORCE them to believe they are true and why would you force them to live in such an authoritarian lifestyle? You think that's good for a child to grow up in that environment?
1
@slickbelge So that makes it alright to indoctrinate them into a bullshit authoritarian, ridiculous belief system and mutilate their cocks does it?
1
Boring i imagine. Imagine living life in a pre industrial revolution way. It would be terrible. Maybe nice to do for a week, bit to actually live your life in a way which doesn't permit progress would be intolerable.

I wouldn't call it a town, not even a village.

It's not just SF, go to virtually any city in the US and you'll see hundreds of people camping rough and living out of bins. It's a truly backward country.

America is a weird place

Sounds like all religions. In 2022, why do people bother believing in such obvious crap?
