@iberian5319 How will it be a wonderful future? Where will Scotland get income from? The SNP already want to shut down oil, so no revenue from that. Not a single wind farm is run by a Scottish company. Virtually no whisky is Scottish owned and Scotland has HALF the % of people who pay 40% or rather 42% in Scotland. Given how atrocious the running of education and health is in Scotland, under what basis do you think Scotland can flourish?

@roryluukas2703 A child isn't mature enough to change gender. Imagine making a decision for the rest of your life which you make at 12 years old. That's the issue.

@ScottishRoss27 What's that got to do with the price of fish? You do realise that Universities are PRIVATE and not state run institutions right? They are not part of government education remits. St Andrews University, currently ranked BEHIND Oxford and Cambridge IS NOT run by the SNP ( just as Oxford and Cambridge aren't run by Westminster) so why did you bring that up? Do you really think that the SNP is responsible for Universities and not just schools?

@ScottishRoss27 They are not run or funded by the SNP. Universities aren't subject to the whims of Scottish Governments. Their teaching curriculum are independent from government funding and as such Scottish Government cannot take any credit for University achievements.

@ScottishRoss27 You aren't getting it are you? It isn't about "funding" it's about providing a level of education. Universities receive funding through student fees, research grants etc. The SNP doesn't tell them what to teach or how to be good at what they do. It doesn't influence courses. It's ironic you pick St Andrews University, which has the LOWEST proportion of Scottish students in ANY Scottish University.

You still haven't explained how the SNP are influencing Scottish University teaching curriculum or standards. It's like saying the NHS influences Doctors Surgeries when all they do is pay the Practice on a per head basis.

@ScottishRoss27 Jesus fucking Christ, are you actually dense? Scottish University teaching is not designed or implemented by a Scottish Government body, the SCHOOL education is. Universities might be PARTIALLY funded by government, AS THEY ARE IN ENGLAND, but Scottish Governments ARE NOT responsible for the PERFORMANCE of a university, therefore talk of league tables is IRRELEVANT.

@iberian5319 Under what criteria will Scotchland gain independence? First of all Scotland can't afford it, they don't meet criteria for joining Europe and can't even get a referendum, far less possibly win one. Sturgeon and Useless have put Scottish Independence back 30 years. They're going to get trounced in the election, and even their own MSPs are defecting to the Tories, that's how bad you are.

@roryluukas2703 Please explain how it was remotely transphobic. Children CANNOT give consent to changing gender. Everything has to be binary with you lot. You cannot see nuance. You probably think being against illegal immigration is racist too.

@brianpark8758 It wasnt me who claimed schools were saying that. I simply stated that it isn't transphobic to believe that minors should be able to change their gender.
