I can prove I'm not a brain in a jar because I can get on a flight and meet you or have a video call with you. It's very easy to prove. Now prove a flood happened.

@scarabmancoyote The idea that I painted every famous painting, wrote every play, built every building, designed every car and piece of technology made every sculpture, wrote every book is arrogant. If I lived in a jar and my brain could do anything, then I wouldn't be ha ing a conversation with someone who couldn't even defend their belief. Secondly I can't sit at a piano or at a desk and create a world class work of art. What reason have you to be Christian? You're diverting.

@scarabmancoyote Do you seriously believe that there was an Adam and Eve for example? Do you believe the flood happened as described? Do you believe in the Exodus? No e of those things happened, and there is no evidence that Jesus was anything other than an ordinary man, so why would you believe this rotten, immoral book?

The point to believe something is true is when there is evidence to support the claim, and there isn't any evidence anywhere that Jesus was anything than just an ordinary man. Why do you believe the story? Does that mean you believe in Santa Claus? It's better to be right that wrong right?

St Nicholas and Jesus may well have existed, bit it doesn't mean the myths attributed to them are true does it? You don't "know" you are loved, just as a child doesn't know Santa is coming to give them presents. You need to separate facts from gullibility.

@Red_Whitenblu You use some logic please. What if you're wrong and the right religion (if there is such a thing) subjects you to a life of eternal torment for believing the wrong thing? By not believing until l there is a good reason, you can say honestly to any "god" that you didn't have a good reason to believe. Using your logic you'd have to believe EVERY god, "just incase" If your god exists, the surely it would want you to believe in it right? So, that god would know EXACTLY how to convince you ot was true, but as it hasn't done that, either it doesn't care, or it doesn't exist. Why waste time on a myth like that? You don't believe anything else in your life on such a flimsy premise, so why believe this laughable belief?
