@148.gforlife6 No, my point is of you follow a religion and stupid immoral books THEN you need to grow up. Religions are indistinguishable from fairy tales, and every bit as stupid. This issue wouldn't exist without religion, so yes, they need to grow up.

I simply said that beleving something such as a religion like Christianity which has no evidence to support it is true, is immoral, indefensible and which is harmful to the adherent is as childish and infantile as believing ANY fairy tale. Why did you grow out of believing in Santa Claus? Because you realised there was no evidence it was true and that it was man made. EXACTLY the same as your Christianity or any other religion. Religious beliefs are just as credulous and just as gullible as believing in a fairy tale, and gullibility is a childish impulse. As for your golden calf analogy. First of all there's no evidence Moses existed, or that anyone went to worship a golden calf, but that would be EXACTLY as stupid as believing in what Moses wanted them to.
