@paulyd786 Daniels *prophecies" have been completely debunked. If I make a prophecy and I don't put a timescale on it, how can it qualify as a prophecy. If I say something as vague as "there will be more wars" and there is a war, it is hardly specific is it, and hardly prophetic either. That's the level of "prophecy" you have. As for biblical prophecy, has the Nile everdried up? Does Egypt speak the language of it's enemies? Do Israel live in peace with its neighbours? Has jesus returned in the lifespan of his disciples? Was Tyre destroyed in the reign of Nebuchadnezzar? No. None of these happend. Bible prophecy ALWAYS fails.
1
@paulyd786 Ha ha ha. Was Tyre destroyed? No Has the Nile dried up? No Did jesus return on the lifespan of his disciples? No Does Israel live in peace with its neighbours? No I asked for a specific prophecy that you think has come true in the bible and you couldn't give me one. You just made an appeal to authority and didn't realise that Newton's delusion on what a prophecy is has no bearing on his scientific discoveries. Also, if you don't understand why a date is Important then you can't tie that vague biblical prophecy to a specific event.
1
@paulyd786 It DIDN'T come true. Why can't you understand that? The bible is NOT a factual document. You seem to be placing emphasis on it being a quote from Newton and that his scientific background carries weight on an unrelated subject, well I'll take what Newton said about gravity because it's supported by evidence, but I won't take what he claims about a disgustingly immoral book, which isn't supported by evidence and isn't remotely prophetic. Tell me a biblical prophecy which has ACTUALLY come true as described, not just a claim that it has.
1
Why would you EVER advocate for puberty blockers? Also there's no such thing as a trans "community". What makes you think it's a community?
1
Much as I like Triggernometry I despise their love for Jordan Peterson. He's a c**t.
1
I generally agree with Konstantine and Francis but their stance on religion is laughable. The best countries in the world have THE LOWEST religion in society. We demonstrably do not need religion for anything. There isn't anything good done by religion that can't be done without it.

She came LEGALLY.
1
@AheadZaxozaxo-et1xk How is she a refugee? She came LEGALLY to this country. That means she's a migrant, not a refugee. If you move to France, doesn't make you a refugee. You can't even write properly. Sure you aren't an illegal immigrant?
1
@jasonbrady3606 Religion is certainly not an "awesome" environment. It's indoctrination into believing ridiculous things without any justification whilst excusing abject immorality of holy books.
1
That crying person at the start was fucking pathetic
1
I have to turn the TV off when this guy is on. He's such a bloody dishonest "look how worthy I am" wonk.
1
Stop saying "like" every fifth word for goodness sake.
1
They're ALLOWED to be one sided because it's not a public station, just like Sky isn't centre, nor The Guardian, Mirror etc.
1
@Romoo88 Channel 4 news is blatantly left wing. That's a legitimate news channel. You don't have to be right in the centre
1
@Romoo88 Sky is LEFT wing, as is BBC, Channel 4 etc Just because you don't like the political leanings of a broadcaster, doesn't mean they aren't legitimate. I'm no fan of GB News particularly, but can you give me an example of a news story you think they reported unfairly or dishonestly on? If you think Trump is far right then you don't know what far right means.
1
It is insufferable.

She mispoke. 6-7m a day

@der1222 You don't even know what atheism is. Religion is RIDICULOUS and morals demonstrably do not originate from religion, nor is religion ever necessary to be moral. Tell me anything good done by religion that can't be done without it. You can't because there is nothing. Please tell me any morals which have ONLY come from religion, again you can't. Atheism is simply the NON BELIEF in a god, no one is born with beliefs in ANYTHING. Atheism is not the claim there are no gods, so yes, a baby IS born atheist. It has no beliefs in anything. You're an atheist in regards to all the gods you don't believe in. You're an atheist in regards to Zeus or Apollo for example, or even something indistinguishable from your god like Santa Claus.
1
@der1222 You're agnostic. You don't know a god exists, and I don't know one doesn't, but there is no evidence which supports a god existing, hence I don't believe in one. Atheism is simply not believing in a god, it makes no claims on whether there is a god. You're also an atheist in regards to every god you don't believe in, so yes, a baby IS born atheist, because they hold no beliefs in anything. In what way is religion necessary for morals? Please tell me any morals thing which requires religion, you can't. There is nothing good done by religion that can't be done without it.
1
@der1222 You're an atheist and you don't even know it.
1
@der1222 The irony is that you don't know what atheism is and that you are actually one too.
1
@AleksandarIvanov69 What have I said that is obnoxious?
1
@RoderickCairns Faith SHOULD be ridiculed. If an adult had faith Santa Claus existed, you'd find it ridiculous. God is no more likely.
1
Is he still a mad Christian?
1
That's your problem then. He's very easy to understand.
1
In what way? Putin is a thug
1
I'm what way is Christianity a "social good"? There is nothing good about Christianity that hasn't been done without it. Christianity is based on the acceptance of a human sacrifice FFS. Is that socially good?
1
@SaltyGammon567 Morality from god? Ha ha ha. Like what? Killing your unruly child? Making a rape victim marry her rapist? Giving rules for permitting slavery? If morals came from god, why is the Bible so immoral?
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech Christianity infects your life, even as an atheist, you SHOULD fight against it and try to convince others to abandon such absurd and indefensible beliefs
1
@muesli_snipes I wouldn't care about believers if it didn't infect politics, education and taxation. If you want to believe in immoral fairy tales, keep it private and in your weird cult, it doesn't belong in society.
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech But they don't need to talk to you in order for it to affect your life. For example it is disgusting that we have clergy in the house of lords, it is disgusting we have the Archbishop opining opinion in public on matters he knows nothing about. It is disgusting that religions pay NO TAX despite being some of the wealthiest organisations in the UK. Those all affect you without you having any contact with the religious.
1
@nigelliam153 Ha ha ha. The Ten Commandments are ridiculous. In the Ten Commandments you are expected to KILL your child if they do not honour you.
1
@marzipankrabapoulus6371 Morality doesn't come from religion. How many times do you have to be told? Teachings of Christ? Ha ha ha, like 'slaves obey your masters "? Or charging into a market place and beating people with sticks?
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech You aren't immune in the US. Christianity is entrenched in your society regardless of Church and state supposedly being separate to an even worse degree than the UK. It's impossible you'll ever have an atheist president whereas we do have these in Europe, your US based religious organisations don't even have to open their books for financial purposes, your laws have, and continue to be dictated by religious organisations and religious influence, such as abortion rules, gay marriage etc and despite your Mrs Miggins up the road being allegedly innocuous and seemingly harmless in regards to her beliefs, people of her ilk keep these preposterous and unjustifiable beliefs to the fore. Think of how much tax money your mega churches are dodging in tax, these are clearly commercial enterprises and you also have "spiritual advisers" supporting your President, so if anything you have it worse.
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech If anything, you have it WORSE in the US.
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech Don't be ridiculous. You'll never elect an atheist president, your religions don't even have to open their books, despite being commercial enterprises and therefore dodging taxes, your federal states vote on abortion precisely due to their pervasive religion. You still have issues with creationism being taught in schools, clashes over evolution being taught as the fact it is, national prayer days etc. The USA is far more affected more negatively due to religion than any Northern European country
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech I disagree. Religion is far more pervasive in US society than UK. Look at US abortion laws, gun laws, region in schools etc. Far more influential in society than in UK or Europe.
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech You're missing the point. Any state that denies a woman to decide whether she remains pregnant is most likely heavily influenced by religious beliefs, it's the same with America's truly laughable gun laws, your necessity to have a Christian president, the interference of religion in schools etc. You can claim that there is no religion in schools if you want, but that is naive. Schools routinely bring this sort of thing I to the class room, it's the same in public office where some states make it impossible for atheists to hold any elected position, as well as having prayers in schools and local meetings etc.
1
@ridleyroid9060 Atheism isn't specific to a lack of belief in Christianity, it's in regards to a belief in a god, not any specific god or any specific religion.
1
@ridleyroid9060 Well they're all as equally unjustifiable and equally stupid, but seems to take turns in terms of how much harm they do. What I am surprised at these days is why the left loves Islam and Muslims so much these days.
1
@nursejoed The response I always hav to the ridiculous claim that religions are a force for good is to ask "name me one good thing done by religion that can't be done without it" I still haven't had an answer, which just demonstrates that religion is not required for any type of good.
1
@nursejoed They aren't unique to religion. They first appeared in earlier texts like the Code of Hamarabi, absolutely nothing unique to Christianity. It is absurd that anyone could possibly think that anything good is unique to or originated from any religion. If there's nothing good done by religion that can't be done without it, why bother with religion? The best countries to live in on this planet have the LEAST religion.
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech I have been to America many times and watched enough of The Atheist Experience to get a picture of just how church and state are not as separate as you'd like to believe. How many atheist people have you got in positions of political power again? Probably less than 1% How much tax do commercial mega churches pay? None How much influence do religious bodies have on gun and abortion rules? Plenty.
1
@marzipankrabapoulus6371 I am smarter than religious people on that particular matter, aren't you? Believing something that has no evidence to support it, e.g. being religious is the definition of gullibility and even on this thread there are plenty people claiming that religions are the root of morality, i.e. the teachings of Jesus in the new Testament or ten commandments, despite them being incapable of seeing how immoral those are . The whole Jesus disgustingly immoral myth relies on morons accepting that human sacrifice and substitutionary atonement are moral. Do you think they are? If I dispose of your wife and you carry out my sentence does that absolve me? Of course notz yet we are expected to accept that it is a noble act for Jesus to "pay for our sins", well I don't accept that I am a sinner, or have anything to pay for, do you?
1
@ArtofFreeSpeech Ha ha. Mine are biased, but somehow yours are credible? I gave examples of how religion is pervasive in American society in contrast to what you say and because it conflicts with your agenda you claim its "biased" What states in America are the ones where abortion rights are curtailed or threatened with being curtailed? Yes, it's the most religious ones. Are atheists in many religious states actively worked against from gaining office? Do you have prayer in schools? Do commercial churches work with paying zero tax? Yes to all of the above. Those aren't just anecdote, those are demonstrable facts. America is like the backwards cousin of Europe.
1
@scproinc YouTube does it all the time. Depends what and how you write.
1
@stevenvegh7964 First of all, Christianity is based on the concept of human sacrifice being a good thing. Jesus was supposedly born to Mary and Joseph so therefore to all intentsband purposes a human.( although apparently cosmically r*ped by god to impregnated her) It's also condoned twice at other times in the Bible. What sort of idiotic god demands a human sacrifice? Couldn't it think of a better solution to a problem it itself created? Secondly, the idea of substitutionary atonement is absurd. If I top your wife, and you offer to carry out my sentence, it doesn't absolve me of anything, so why does anyone think that A) we carry sin or B) that anyone can absolve of it by agreeing to be sacrificed on the alter of their moronic god? It's a preposterous, immoral, stupid belief system.

He's Turkish
1
@KaeFwam What do you mean science has confirmed "validity" of transgender people?
1
@sigurdholbarki8268 Intelligent design is absolutely NOT becoming more popular amongst evolutionary biologist. The whole point of evolution is it's a NATURAL process and is NOT guided. ID is a LAUGHABLE concept and no credible scientist entertains it.
