Wokeness for example has led to things like permitting the Rochdale grooming gangs to persist because the police didn't want to be labelled as "islamaphobic", wokeness very nearly put a rapist into a FEMALE prison because the MAN claimed to identify as a woman and had there not been outrage at that, HE would have been. The original term for what "woke" meant, as being a bit more progressive, inclusive and less racist has now gone to absurd levels where people ACTIVELY SUFFER from people's "wokeness"
