  7.  @christhedoc8689  Completely untrue. The fact there are factories in the US doesn't mean they are designed and engineered there. Name one model from either that is American like the Ford Mondeo, Focus, Fiesta, escape etc are European in origin. It was the same at Buick too by the way.

  8.  @christhedoc8689  Transit, transit connect, EcoSport, the old Ford Kuga, Ford Puma whilst head of Ford design for many years was a Brit. How is the Escape codesigned by Mazda? They don't use a Ford platform for any of their models anymore. The claim was BMW and Merc were designed and engineered in USA, that's bollocks. The Mondeo has had numerous iterations and all have been European in origin in terms of design and engineering. US markets just rebadged them under a different name
