  4.  @Art-is-craft  That's just nonsense. The engines aren't the problem, do you really think we don't have V8's outside of your country? The issue is that American design lacks worldwide appeal. If it was the case then Cadillac, Lincoln, GMC etc would be sold world wide and companies like Ford and latterly GM wouldn't need foreign based design and engineering teams to make products that people want to buy.

  7.  @derekwall5570  All those examples are incredibly rare. Even less likely in these sort of vehicles whilst the behaviour you mention is far more common among louts and chavs in crap like Fiesta and Corsa knocking people down than in SUV's. Most accidents between pedestrians and cars that are the fault of the driver are YOUNG drivers, not SUV drivers.
