@johnwhear9600 I suspect they lie about how much it costs otherwisebitbwould be incredibly easy to forge and make money. If they pretend they cost more than they're worth then it hinders people from trying it .
1
@johnwhear9600 My point was that it would be a simple thing to counterfeit. The higher the value the higher the security built into the design and the more costly it is to manufacture. Anyway, it's a cent, not a penny

It's all grown in the mountains

Quiche is egg. Deep pan pizza is just a toasted sandwich.
1
@fuhqsideways Still can't spell Peugeot can you?
1
@doomslayer1984 Are you mental. If you discriminate against ANY skin colour that is racism. For example if you discriminate against white people for a job, that is racism.

Kiruna is an absolute dump

The crown vic looks like it cone from the 1980's.

TVR? Ha ha ha. I wouldn't say they were in existence anymore

Polestar are no longer part of Volvo.

@jasonmatthewson8534 LEVC is Chinese
1
@jasonmatthewson8534 They aren't doing defunct brands, otherwise there would be hundreds
1
@denisspratt926 Ha ha, I clearly didn't watch very far

What we could also do with is an annual insurance test to ensure your car has not been modified in a vulgar way which invalidates your insurance. Plus if you have a skin fade, white trainers or a tracksuit your insurance should be tripled.
1
Those are only the export ones. Like most countries they have a lot of beers which aren't so easily found but are far better. Worth trying some online sites to order some.
1
Backwards country.
1
@jakdawscreech I was referring to how much of a twat Hamilton is. Personally couldn't give a fig about F1. It's not a sport, it is just an engineering competition. Nothing more boring and it doesn't matter who is driving.
1
@stevenlavoie8897 That's a fucking lie.
1
@wlbond008 What American protection? Ford and GM sold their stakes in Saab, Aston, Landrover, Volvo and Mazda AT A LOSS, because Americans don't understand cars outside their own borders. Tata and Geely made Jaguar and Land. Rover and Volvo profitable almost immediately and it is clear that all those companies make far better cars than when US companies owned them.
1
American Bud is absolutely repulsive. Almost meaty.
1
Pool is a piece of piss compared to snooker.
1
@sinisatrlin840 Ha ha. What cars from Asia are there other than Chinese, Japanese and Korean? You going to just ignore the Malaysian ones which were fine? What vehicles CANT stop in that time?
1
@sinisatrlin840 To be fair I thought you'd have the common sense to realise I'm not talking about cars from truly backwards countries. It's true that many American cars are a bit agricultural, but I can't think of any that wouldn't pass muster to enter the EU. Anyway, most of the things which the EU have trouble with is things like indicators or specific tyres. They can easily be remedied.
1
@sinisatrlin840 The American cars that you can buy more than meet minimum NCAP standards. Japanese cars have some of the worst emissions on the planet, but as long as you PAY you can drive it. Imports are not subject to NCAP. NCAP only refers to cars sold WITHIN Europe. Euro NCAP is also VOLUNTARY.
1
@jennyh4025 I agree it's a monstrosity, but when you consider some of the hideous supercars allowed, you have to wonder what case could be held against this truck. PS I hate Tesla
1
@sinisatrlin840 There's early GTR's and Skylines etc all over Europe imported from Japan. So you admit you were wrong about Euro NCAP not being mandatory?
1
@jennyh4025 There is absolutely no way that the woke EU is going to ban any EV from Tesla. Weight concerns? Ha ha. You think there aren't heavier vehicles granted and cars with lower safety standards? I hate Tesla, think this car is incredibly ugly and stupid, but you need better reasons than that. Tesla, as much as I despise them have some of the absolute best crash test results and preventative technology, so safety really isn't an issue.
1
@jennyh4025 You're just being ridiculous now. It is a commercial decision by Tesla, not one made by European law. Much as I hate Tesla, their safety is not in question.
1
@sinisatrlin840 You said you live in Switzerland didn't you? Not part of EU and this NCAP doesn't apply, not even voluntarily. Switzerland doesn't even have any NCAP test centres. So you brought up a strawman thinking you had a "gotcha"
1
@jennyh4025 Ha ha ha ha. You can't stand being wrong can you? Tesla have not yet made their mind up in relation to if the Cybertruck will be released in Europe. First of all crash tests aren't mandatory, and NCAP isn't enforceable. It also only relates to cars sold WITHIN Europe and is a completely VOLUNTARY process. Do you seriously think Tesla would risk sales and reputation by releasing a car deemed unsafe? What a truly preposterous belief. It's purely going to be based on COMMERCIAL logic, not safety. Tesla engineers have also explained the design of the vehicle in relation to crumple zones. The reason that it probably won't make Europe is down to a lack of demand for such sized vehicles in Europe.
1
@littleDutchie92 You should probably stick to the bus then or go and see an optician. I've had SUVs that had far better visibility than lower down cars. SUVs do not by default have poorer visibility. It just sounds like you didn't adapt well to a different car and aren't particularly observant. I'd hardly call a Grandland an SUV anyway, more like an inflated car.
1
@jennyh4025 People are allowed to want any car they like, you don't get to choose for them or decide whether they "need" them or not. I earn more money than I "need", should I give it back? Most countries permit a certain number of "grey" imports. For example I can go into a Ford dealer and have a Ford car not sold in Europe imported. It might cost more, I might have to pay import duty, I might have to make some modifications to make it "road legal" but without doubt 99.9% of the time I WILL be able to do so. I'm absolutely certain we will see some Cybertrucks imported, after all we see tons of US cars here that aren't sold in dealerships. Tesla might decide NOT to sell them in dealerships bit routes will exist where people can get their hands on them in limited numbers, and the limit is more dictated by the number of people able to afford, and who can be bothered with the trouble.
1
@littleDutchie92 Not at all. Many SUVs actually get a better elevated view, not to mention most have collision avoidance and automatic braking.
1
@sinisatrlin840 Why are you importing so many cars anyway? Why don't you just find ones that are already in the EU?
1
@hendrikvanleeuwen9110 Please show me where the legislation is that a car has to pass crash tests, I've already shown to another guy that NCAP is a voluntary scheme. It isn't mandatory for a car to pass. Countries permit a number of grey imports, this is to protect a countries car industry, but many European countries don't have a car industry to protect and many actively hate cars like Switzerland and Denmark.
1
@TheTygertiger Who are you to decide how fast someone is driving? What is "proper speed"? If you have a problem, find a place to safely overtake. It's unnecessarily slow driving that annoys me, not what they're driving. I'd much rather be behind a safely driven car than have some chav in a shitty Corsa or Fiesta right up my arse trying to get past in an unsafe manner.
1
@TheTygertiger People aren't required to drive at the speed limit, it's the limit, not a minimum level. I get it pisses you off, but you should be less uptight and just take your time. They have as much right to be there as you do. As I already said, I'd rather have someone doing 50mph on a B road with a limit of 60 than some little wanker driving at 65 in his shitty little Polo, Fiesta, Corsa etc with a stupid exhaust who's probably going to end upside down in a field.
1
@Coolcarting Yes, we do care about insurance costs. They can be bloody expensive
1
@scrambler69-xk3kv The point is it's safer if you've learned by virtue of passing a test to show you're capable of driving one.
1
America, like every country now has tons of great breweries, its just the mainstream stuff that is vile, but you could also say that for other countries. Scotlandbhas the repulsive Tennents, England has Carling, Australia Fosters, France 1664, Denmark Carlsberg, Norway Tau, Germany Becks etc. None are as bad as Miller or Bid but you get the picture. Not all American beer is bad and not all European beer is good.
1
@IWrocker You are right. I have actually heard Americans claim brands like Mercedes and Adidas as American companies. The level of ignorance is stunning so well done on being one of the few who looks beyond your borders.
1
@iHelpSolveIt Why not? Names stick.
1
@marydavis5234 That isn't why it's called the World Series.
1
@marydavis5234 Go and look up the origins of why it's called that. That sounds like an excuse for the criticisms they got for perceived insular arrogance. PS, name a British baseball player.
1
@marydavis5234 He's Australian, just born in England and doesn't even play anymore. International players are NOT why it's called the World Series. Don't make me laugh.
1
@Hiforest We don't have to report incidences either. If two people have an incident they can just sort it out between themselves. Police and authorities don't have to be told.
1
@Hiforest Then you've been misinformed.
1
@Hiforest Hopefully you never will. Police are useless so I'd never rely on them for anything.
1
@GarryMatthews-v4r only for cars in their 4th year and older
1
Pretty sure all countries have a region section of the plate. UK, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Austria etc all have.
