If I know where these companies come from, and I don't think and have never been under the misapprehension they come from my country, then I'm anything but ignorant, quite the opposite. America, with their insular media and education system routinely and repeatedly demonstrate how ignorant they are of basic facts and basic general knowledge . The sheer naivety and hubris to think that every good company "must be from America" demonstrates clearly that they have such little thirst for knowledge and simply assume that the USA is the source of everything.

  13.  @jonhroarulstad5775  Americans have stupid names like Skip Bornhooter or Dick Encrovic. They also have a stupid habit of naming the son after the mother's maiden name, so you get ridiculous names like Webb and Wyndham as forenames.

  15.  @bencze465  Yes, it's a large country, but just as it's not an excuse to not holiday outside of your country, it's not an excuse to abandon all knowledge. Canada is bigger than USA, Australia isn't far off the US size, but they aren't as insular and ignorant as Americans are. As a non American I have been asked some truly preposterous questions by Americans that no other nation would be stupid enough to ask, and it is because of their insular media and woeful inside US Borders and US orientated education.
