@jarkeydude111 If you're going to aspire to luxury, then car companies need to understand what it actually means.
In America the term luxury seems to mean a combination of things, primarily just making it bigger but if adding leather for example is seen as a luxurious touch, US will add leather, but not give a shit about the quality of the leather, see what I mean?
America still has a problem with "bang for the buck" rather than "you get what you pay for" and it shows badly in their cars being cheaply made.
Interiors are important because you spend all of your time in there, for the sake of a bit of money it's worth spending a bit extra on, not penny pinching.
I don't have a problem usually, it's when they try to match higher end cars for example Lexus are second rate as are Cadillac and Lincoln.
I agree most cars are just a way of getting from A to B, but if you want to challenge in a segment, best to actually understand the segment. It's why the likes of Cadillac and Lincoln simply aren't sold in most markets or have such a minor share they might as well not bother.
