When was the last time you saw a car with an ignition key?

@notarealperson9135 Doesn't mean you can't have an opinion. The Peugeot is cringeworthy, shiversome and absolutely hideous. The question you should ask of a car is, would any self respecting female ever set foot in it. If the answer is no, your car is vulgar and shiversomely embarrassing.

@CathyMiller-k4b There's always one......
3
@John_Hoover Loads of cars have that already. It wouldn't be SAAB innovating if they did the same, and it was there as a Security feature as it locked gear box. . Polestar don't even have a start button it is on when you sit in the seat.
3
@tony_5156 That Peugeot isn't shit because of aerodynamics . It's just shit.
2
There's no need. The ONLY reason to buy a Duster is because they are very cheap, but the US already has very affordable cars. Your cars are significantly cheaper than the cars we get in the UK/Eur
2
@martinberglund8932 Agreed. I do live in Scandinavia and if they ever resurrect this project it would be a very popular car here.
2
@John_Hoover There's aot more SAAB design features I'd prefer to have than where the start stop is.
2
@rubbermoetroken Polestar 2 is the closest thing we have to a SAAB, certainly in profile it's like an updated 9-3 MK1.
2
EV wheels are just insufferably ugly.
1
@vipermoon_ im talking about the retail cost of ALL your cars. You can loads of brand new cars in the US incredibly cheaply, you can't in rest of the world.
1
@mircea5013 and it has cheap as fuck petrol.
1
@mircea5013 Actually Americans get staggeringly low HP from very large engines. On an HP per litre basis, this is probably not too bad for power in a US context. The funny thing is that although the Dacia is cheap, it's build quality is probably still better than many US cars. US quality comes about 3rd or 4th to other factors.
1
@mircea5013 Have you ever driven cars in America before? Doesn't sound like it. They have loads of cars which are just the same as we get in Europe. They don't import them all, just as we don't import most US cars, yes, you can get a lot of models with a V6 option, but in general your common cars you see in Europe like Golf, Focus, XC60 etc are the same in America. The 320d or 520d wouldn't be a joke power wise, it just wouldn't be imported because Americans don't need diesel because Petrol is so cheap so fuel efficiency isn't an issue. The Jetta is sold in America as a 158 hp car.
1
@mircea5013 Yes, that's fine. I said some models are different, but I gave the example of the Jetta, which is 156hp or whatever. The Ford Kuga for example is a 1.5 ecoboost, Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda are all the same with low power models.
1
@mircea5013 BMW is a premium brand. I wouldn't expect a base model to be sold in America. The bottom line is there is a broad range of HP available in America. I agree they wouldn't buy a Dacia, I never said they would. My point was they already have plenty cheap, shit , badly made underpowered cars available for practically nothing, so Dacia wouldn't sell.
1
@mircea5013 BMW WOULD sell it if the US wanted it. The thing is that people will happily have CERTAIN models in the US at various low HP ratings, the demand for the BMW you mention isn't sufficient to merit a supply, but that doesn't mean that low horse power models of other cars aren't in demand. Of course it is premium in Europe, but BUYING a car and RUNNING a car is CONSIDERABLY more expensive in Europe than it is in the USA.
1
Tesla just look BORING. America can't design anything withiut it looking out of date or derivative. There's just no need to ever line Musks pocket when there are so many other better looking and better made EV's out now.
1
Ha ha ha ha. America cannot do style.
1
They should stop dining out on The Stig.
1
Solar panels really don't make much difference.
1
@martinberglund8932 Which is how many? 25?
1
@martinberglund8932 it will not give it much more than a minimal charge. Fisker claim at best the solar roof will give you 1500miles per year.
1
@martinberglund8932 Fisker themselves don't think it helps much.
1
Wow. Not seen Tom in years but he has really taken a hold of his health. Well done Tom.
1
What a stupid vehicle.
1
Anyone else bored by how these look now? Was interesting when they came out first, but now they look as lazy as Porsche designers.
1
Finally an interesting looking car comes out of Asia
1
Looks like a Jag. Typical Asian derivative "design"
1
@rubbermoetroken Yes, I had two. The point is cars don't have keys or manual levered handbrakes now. Furthermore tons of car have start buttons in that location now, so it wouldn't really be a SAAB thing anymore.
1
@mullerman1104 I'm talking about new cars.
1
@mullerman1104 It's a van
1
@mullerman1104 I specified cars, so your comment isn't related to cars.
1
@malthuswasright Jesus fuck. I was talking about MODERN CARS, not old jallopies
1
@natdenchfield8061 Most NEW cars don't have an ignition barrel that requires A KEY.
1
@natdenchfield8061 You must be driving very low end vehicles.
1
@natdenchfield8061 I can't think of any car which which comes with a physical key and ignition lock unless it's the very bottom specification. What cars are you saying are key only, because for every one you can name I bet I could name 5 that aren't. I just don't buy your claim that "most" cars have an if ignition key, but that could be dependent on where in the world you are experiencing these cars.
1
It's not being produced.
1
You get it fixed as you get any tyre fixed.
1
@kuruptzZz How do you think they got the tyre on?
1
@kuruptzZz Do you really think they'd design a wheel where it was problematic to replace a tyre?
1
@kuruptzZz Not me with the stupid questions.
1
@kuruptzZz If you ask a stupid question that has an obvious answer.......
