Some of the roles that require a PhD and offer miserly wages are ridiculous.

@joevarga5982 Like what? Such visas are only granted if they can't be filled by a US person. You clearly don't know how difficult it is to gain entry to the US. Perhaps you need to look at quality, rather than cheapness.

Perhaps you need to modify your application method and procedure. You're obviously not catching their eye.

You can't possibly do a proper job of addressing each job advert the proper way if you apply to 1000. A thorough, focussed and serious job application takes time. You can't possibly do this for 1000 jobs in a period of time from which you could possibly draw conclusions.

You should probably try a different approach.

@joevarga5982 There is always a need for engineers.

@joevarga5982 Well, for a start you have over 1000 bridges that are considered to be dangerous, so you need civil and structural engineers. Secondly you have second rate car manufacturers that need to outsource US engineering to European arms of their company to provide them with engineering services, so you could do with more mechanical engineers. Thirdly you have a country that is based like all other western countries on the internet, yet in terms of speed and coverage you lag behind Europe, so you could do with more electrical and software engineers. Plenty other examples.

@joevarga5982 Yes, I was a Civil Engineer for a long time. I haven't worked in the US, but it's clear you have a need for engineers of all sorts. All developed countries do.

@justiceforusall7038 Then you'll never hear back. If you aren't getting a reply then you are applying to jobs you aren't suited for or your applications aren't very good. You need to change your approach
