  2. That's absolutely moronic . Scotland has a population of 5m, England is about 57m. Furthermore in regards to biomass, the issue is that in order to make it, trees are taken from Europe, transported by ship to Canada, turned into biomass using an industrial process and shipped back to Europe to be burnt as biomass. You don't see the complete lack of efficiency there? Furthermore, don't you think fossil fuels originally absorbed co2 from the atmosphere during the time at which the organic matter was alive? Doesn't seem you understand the carbon cycle very well.
