  6.  @patricklee6206  No there isn't. NOTHING was written about Jesus until decades after his alleged existence and no one who ever met him bothered to write about him. If he was so amazing why did NO ONE write about him during his life?. At best there MIGHT have been an ordinary man called Jesus, but there is no evidence whatsoever of divinity, resurrection or miracles. It is on effect no better than a fairy story.

Weddings existed BEFORE religion and therefore the church view of what marriage should be is irrelevant. The fact that SOME weddings happen within a religious setting doesn't make it necessary.

  15.  @patricklee6206  Because she believes a book which is not supported by ANY evidence, believes a god for which there is no evidence for, which is indistinguishable from a fairy tale and a book which condones slavery, genocide, torture, incest etc. That's why her beliefs are different to mine, because they are patently LAUGHABLE and indefensible. She is in a religion which believes in Adam and Eve and that the earth is 6000 years old. Why would you want a LOON like that in charge of a raffle, let alone a country? She could lobby her party to follow a particular line, just as Sturgeon did with her trans views, so yes, it DOES matter if you believe preposterous things. You believe a politician who says they won't do something? Have you just hatched out of an egg?
