@stonemarten1400 Britain's cars are less than 0.1% of global emissions.

No we didn't have 700,000 illegals last year. Those were LEGAL actually.
3
@Tony11806 Yes, legal they may be, but I should have added it is far too many for our infrastructure.

@taffyterrier Oil and Gas is sold on the global market it doesn't matter if you own it as a state or not. Equinor is owned by Norwegian Government but their fuel is more expensive than UK

She's a Christian loon and is rather annoying. Tries too hard to be funny.

We don't have the most expensive fuel actually.

@overcoercion590 Norway is PAID for it's energy. When I lived in Norway, which was just two months ago my utility bill was less than £100 a month for heating, hot water and Internet (which was more than 50% of the cost) PS, Norwegian houses do not have mains gas, so they wouldn't use the gas anyway.
1
@overcoercion590 Then he doesn't know the reasons. Norway is 98% reliant on renewables, largely hydro, so it isn't affected by exporting gas because it wouldn't use it anyway. Norway wouldn't use the gas anyway, so that's not the reason why (at times) energy has been expensive. Furthermore they have REGIONAL price models and unless you love in South West or Oslo, your energy costs are actually very low.

@Eli-pj8xm That's a terrible analogy. Can't you do better?

@Tony11806 I'm absolutely fine with people coming from amenable cultures who bring value to a country (providing we have the infrastructure to accommodate) what I'm not in favour of is people coming who bring nothing, just take and who bring ghastly cultural practices with them, why would you be in favour of that. FYI, more people have come to the UK in the last 10 years than have come since 1066 combined. It can't all be good can it?
1
@Tony11806 Yes. I'm aware of that. The question is what value is being brought in, what cultural problems are presented and does a country have sufficient infrastructure to cope with the influx? Clearly that is not the case anymore.
