  3.  @BrianMcGuirkBMG  No they can't. If I got made redundant tomorrow, I'd have enough money to keep myself for a year because I'm clever enough to understand it can happen. If you're on 60k, you'll be at a company who pays you a good redundancy, besides doctors aren't made redundant. The point is if you're on 60k it's a LIE to say you can't afford lunch. I've earned from 20k all the way to over 100k and never have I had a problem affording lunch. They're either stupid, can't budget or are liars.

  5.  @BrianMcGuirkBMG  That wasn't what you stated. Being made redundant doesn't mean you'll never find another job. If you are not in a position where you possess the skills to command a job which ensures you are able to bring up a child in comfort you shouldn't have them. Yes, people can lose jobs and people can endure temporary hardship, but if you can't get another job, perhaps you aren't the sort of person who should have them in the first place.

  8.  @tinasheroy  You can look up a doctors salary at all grades and all experience. You can also find information on London weighting, extra pay for shifts, weekend working etc, pension etc.

  9. The NHS is a mess. Germany have fewer people working in their healthcare system but have a better doctor and nurse ratio to patients, more beds per 1000 people, and get better results all whilst having a much higher population. So what are all this people in the NHS doing and why won't we modify the NHS to follow a European model which have been proven to work better? The left who claim the NHS is the envy of the world are lying and see any modification as trying to privatise it. They're the problem too.
