How are we "screwed"? We have never lived at a time with more technology, we will simply adapt to it, furthermore, not all climate change is necessarily bad. Don't you think that humans have lived through hotter and very different than we have now?

You do realise that 99% of all species that ever existed are now extinct right? That had nothing to do with humans. How many species can you name which have gone extinct as a result of imate change? Humans are certainly not at risk of extinction at all.

@Rosula_D Name ANY country or peoples who have not contributed. Every single cohtnry in the world has burned things and released CO2. Even places with no trees like Arctic areas and people such as Inuit and Sami have burned oil and blubber from animals. It is incredibly naive if you think that there are people who have made no impact. There are certainly some who have contributed less, but none who have contributed nothing.

Ha ha, you think 30 years was sufficient? We didn't have the time to develop renewable alternatives and even now life as we know it would not survive without oil and gas

@ShutThePuck Did you stop using oil and gas, plastics, roads, cosmetics, medicines etc? No, so stop the sanctimonious nonsense. You're just using hindsight. You have no idea if 30 years was sufficient. Are you an atmospheric chemist? A meteorologist? A mechanical engineer? No. So what would you know?

@Rosula_D There are two kinds of climate change, natural and man made. I didn't claim we haven't contributed to climate change. Everything which burns carbon contributes, so whether its a fire in some remote country or a power station in Pricksville USA it contributes to climate change. Sorry you don't understand science, but the difference is how much of a difference it is making. Regardless of how small a family fire is, it's still releasing carbon dioxide etc into the atmosphere. Are you telling me that coal, log, peat fires don't contribute? That's how people have heated their houses for centuries but you claim it makes no difference? 🤣 🤣 🤣
