Virgin Islanders are not represented in the upper or lower house in the US, do not pay US taxes, cannot vote in US Elections , are not subject to US law and are not governed by a US political party because they do not have Democrats or Republicans. They have their OWN LEADER. They are an overseas territory and the US President is a token role as head of state. King Charles is head of state of Canada, but he's not the King of Canada, it's a token role just as the US President is nothing more than a token title in the US Virgin Islands. Can you really not see the difference between a democratically elected leader of a country and a token role of an overseas territory? The US President does NOTHING in the Virgin Islands.

Westminster never did boast about a low death rate anyway because like Scotland it was NEVER anything to boast about.
